ELA BEACH CONVENTION CENTRE AND HOTEL

Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

The competition entry for the Convention Centre and Hotel development will seek to ‘transcend time’, reflecting historic symbolism in its architecture. This will be expressed at the human scale through colour and texture, and the macro scale through the collective bold statement of the metaphoric bilum bag skin enveloping the buildings.

The building design will be a symbol of Papua New Guinea’s aspirations on the world stage.
